Oh Amber, I am so sorry! You have had a quite a week haven’t you.  I hope you have a good friend there to hold you and give you a hug, gently of course.  Heal quickly and thank God that the children or Len was not with you.  May this week bless you with only good things.

Damn Bambers, I’m glad you’re alright; that’s just downright scary. Take care of yourself little lady.

Cheers

You poorest of poor things! You do not need this on top of everything else.

The only silver lining I can find when things seem to pile up (oh dear, no pun intended) like this is to think that you’re getting all the bad stuff over with in one go, and leaving yourself a nice clear time of happiness in the future! ...I hope that helps.

You might want to Photoshop the licenses out of the photos, BTW. That’s probably if you’re only as paranoid as I am, though. And I don’t think most people are.

Anyway, HUGS and so many thanks that you are safe!

thank god you’re alive, amber.  try have long soaks in hot baths as often as possible (what ? with four kids ?) to try and smooth the aches and pains.

you’re obviously under a lot of stress, so can your mum come round and help ?

Aw, crap - now, I’m all weepy - my deepest thanks to those angels of yours and copious amounts of TLC be yours for the rest of the millennium!

Thank God for good guardian angels and lots and lots of steel. So sorry that you had a wreck, but hugely relieved to know that you walked away intact.

you left out the special coffee and the Anaesthetic of that night. You did so much better than i would have done in that situation . Really glad to hear the pain is better. I will try and not bring so much bad luck on our next visit x

Good Lord! I’m glad you are more or less OK!

You know you could have just called I would have come over to smack you around a little and made you cry.  It would have been much cheaper.

OMG, I’m so glad you were able to walk away from this.  Angels indeed!!!

comment by helene  on  08/21  at  03:07 PM

OMG!

Glad you’re ok!!!!

Did you get the house?

comment by Pamalamadingdong  on  08/21  at  06:22 PM

OK, every disaster post should lead with, “THE CHILDREN ARE OK.”

And the second line should be, “I AM NOT SERIOUSLY INJURED.”

I was dying over here, trying to get past the photos, looking in the windows, searching for car seats…

I’m so glad it wasn’t worse!! Please take care of yourself. I’d say Len owes you a bit of nursing payback. ; )

comment by Mindy  on  08/23  at  09:24 AM

I would have to say that is distinctly NOT an example of Pay it forward...unless of course you really wanted a new car and a life altering experience.
Happy to hear that you, at least are okay.

comment by jo  on  08/25  at  01:31 AM

Oh my God, Amber! I’m so glad you weren’t seriously hurt.
Take good care of yourself!

comment by Michele  on  08/25  at  02:41 AM

Good grief that’s dreadful - you must have been terribly shaken up, you poor thing! But you absolutely MUSTN’T do the “what if’s” thing - very difficult, yes, but it’s destructive. What a horrible shock it’s all been, and what with Len incapacitated as well ... Trying times, hmm? Best wishes for putting this behind you, and being thankful xx

Ouch!  I’m glad you’re mostly okay!!  Take care of yourself, rest, relax.
